Melting a Spoon in Water

Gallium is a chemical element that has a melting point of around 85.57 °F (29.76 °C), just above room temperature.

In a classic prank, scientists used to make gallium spoons and serve tea to unsuspecting guests with the hot tea melting the spoon. Check out the video to see this interesting science experiment in action!
