The Northern Lights

Enjoy this beautiful Northern Lights video which features gorgeous time lapse footage of the Aurora Borealis from above Salten, Norway. The camera slowly pans around to show the stunning panorama highlighted by amazing bursts of color as charged particles from the Sun react with particles in the air. Although the magnetic field protects Earth from most of these particles, some slip through in the weaker areas near the North and South poles, creating amazing light shows such as the one seen in this video.
